Replacement steering damper for VW. This is the small shock that connects from your tie rod to the beam and provides a dampening effect when you hit a pot hole. If this isn’t in place the shock will be sent to the drivers hands. Fits both king pin and ball joint beams. Does not fit Super Beetle.. Beetle Type 1: 60-77 Ghia: 60-74 Thing: 73-74
